About Our Staff

Todd McNabb – Owner / Doctor
Dr. McNabb founded East Hills Animal Clinic in February 1990. He is from Albany, Oregon and graduated from Oregon State University in 1986 with his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. McNabb is married and has two children ages 19 and 15. He and his family have a dog, Ruby and two cats, Angel & Tommy.
Dr. McNabb enjoys the field of veterinary medicine and helping people and their pets.
When not at work, Dr. McNabb is very active in the alpine ski racing community as a USSA level 3 timer and level 1 referee. He is the 2013-2014 OVMA president.

Kathryn West – Associate Doctor
Dr. West joined East Hills Animal Clinic in 2010, bringing more than 15 years of experience in companion animal and exotic pet medicine and surgery to the practice. She earned her Undergraduate and Masters Degrees at Oregon State before attending veterinary school at the University of Florida. Returning to the Pacific Northwest after graduation, she has worked in both Oregon and Washington, recently returning to the Portland area. She has a special interest in non-traditional (exotic) pets, including rabbits, ferrets, pocket pets and reptiles, and spends some of her free time volunteering with conservation groups working in the Bahamas, Costa Rica and Africa. She has had a wide menagerie of pets over the years, and currently shares her home with three cats and a lot of cat hair.

Bob Lambert – Associate Doctor.
Dr. Lambert grew up in Saratoga, California and graduated from UC Davis in 1994 with his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He has a wife and two children, Robbie and Marie. The family has one dog and one cat, Speck & Minty.
Dr. Lambert enjoys meeting people, treating pets and working with the different personalities of the pets.
In his time away from the clinic, he enjoys golf, cooking, brewing beer and spending time outdoors.

Karen Hampton – Receptionist
Karen has been at East Hills Animal Clinic for over ten years. She grew up in Milwaukie, Oregon then moved to Vancouver Island in 1976. She moved back to Oregon eleven years ago.
She lives in the Portland area with her husband and they have two grown sons.
Karen enjoys meeting and greeting pets and clients. She chose to work in the veterinary field because she has always had a love of all animals and enjoys being able to help and care for them.
In her free time, Karen enjoys cooking, canning, gardening, hiking and being outside as much as possible.

Caren Cox – Receptionist.
Caren resides in Oregon City with her husband, two dogs Binny & Bandon and cat, Yodi. She has been at East Hills Animal Clinic for three years.
Caren enjoys working with the clients and their animals.
When not working, Caren enjoys painting, swimming, decorating, walking her dogs and car racing.

Ronda Holmes – Receptionist.
Ronda grew up in Gresham and resides in the Portland area with her two dogs. She has three grown children and enjoys exercising in her free time.
Ronda enjoys working at East Hills Animal Clinic and likes the down home friendly environment.

Michelle Dunn – Technician.
Michelle has been working in the veterinary field since 1995. She received her veterinary technician certification in 2001.
Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, she resides in the Portland area with her daughter, Sofia, one dog, Kuri, and one cat, Patron.
Teeth cleaning is one of her specialties and is one of her favorite aspects of her job. She also has an interest in animal behavior. Michelle loves animals and medicine, making the veterinary field a perfect fit for her.
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys reading and scrapbooking.

Amanda Jones – Technician
Amanda was born in Oregon and has been with EHAC since the summer of 2012. She lived in Utah and Chicago before moving back to Oregon more recently. She graduated in the Veterinary Technician Program from Sanford Brown College.
Amanda enjoys being a Veterinary Technician. She loves the bond between the pets she cares for and their owners.
In her off time, Amanda spends time with her daughter, Riah, and enjoys reading and rafting.
